* Prospective 21st Century

Posted on octobre 9th, 2010 by YATS. Filed under Cover Arts, Tracks.

I already told you about my passion for this book collection with their delicious metallic sleeve covers.
Now let’s talk about music. I own a few records from the Prospective 21st century french label. It’s a collection of avant-garde contemporary music works from the 60’s and 70’s, with obscure composers alongside famous names : Iannis Xenakis, Ivo Malec, Pierre Schaeffer, Pierre Henry (Futurama’s title song for the most uneducated of you). It’s repertory goes from concrète and experimental stuff to electronic music.

I couldn’t find any digital release of this collection. And the records are going amazingly pricey on eBay.
